Our Work

Simply, we strive to protect the Bay's remaining wetlands by working to place them under the protection of the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge and to foster world-wide education regarding the value of all wetlands.

Using the links below, you can learn about the specific species of animals and plants that our work protects, in addition to specific success stories, particular issues and projects and samples of comment letters that our organization has written.

As a reminder, we are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit volunteer based organization, therefore we rely on donations from individuals like you who are concerned interested in protecting wetlands in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.  All of the money donated is put into programs that support advocacy for wetlands protection and improve public awareness of the many societal benefits wetlands provide.
